NEW HABS COACH FLUSHES STAFF OF RANDYS

Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin has relieved assistant coaches Randy Cunneyworth and Randy Ladouceur of their duties, effective immediately. “Following my appointment as head coach of the Montreal Canadiens [ on Tuesday], I made the decision of bringing together a new coaching staff,” new head coach Michel Therrien said in a statement. “Out of respect for Randy Cunneyworth and Randy Ladouceur, I felt it was important that I notify them immediately in order for them to start looking for other opportunities without further delay.”
