In 1976, the Earth art pioneer Nancy Holt created what could be interprete­d as a modern- day Stonehenge in the four huge pipes line up with the rising and setting sun of the summer and winter solstices, and are pierced by h stellation­s. Holt’s film of the work is part of an exhibition opening at the CAG, which also includes photograph­s a that use the natural environmen­t as both medium and subject.
