Kardashian wants boffo bucks for baby pictures
Proud new parents Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are now focused on just one thing — making as much money off the baby as possible.
There were multiple reports over the weekend that Kardashian had given birth to a little girl with her chatty family all but confirming the story. The birth was a month earlier than expected.
News of the birth has been swaddled in secrecy. But Kardashian’s sister, Khloe, appears to have let a rather cryptic cat out of the bag on Twitter.
“I can not even begin 2describe the miracle that is now apart of our family. Mommy/ baby are healthy & resting. We appreciate all of the love,” she tweeted Sunday.
But now the rapper and the reality star want to make as much money as possible off the momentous event.
But according to the New York Daily News, if Kardashian is expecting a mega payout, she should get real.
“The million- dollar pay deal is now nonexistent,” one industry insider told the Daily News.
The insider scoffed at earlier reports West would never sell the photos, and if he did, they’d be worth up to $ 3 million ( US).
“They will sell the baby photos, but not for what they want. It is not going to be a milliondollar payday.”
In 2008, People magazine and Britain’s Hello! magazine joined forces to secure exclusive rights of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s newborn twins Vivienne and Knox for a staggering $ 14 million. Kanye and Kim’s baby girl won’t see that kind of money.
“People magazine is the most likely bidder and they will probably pay between $ 200 and $ 400K,” the insider told the News. “The Kardashians have dealt with Us Weekly in the past and they too have the budget for a big spend.”
