WHY BIRDS MATTER AT VPL

Join author, biologist and birder Dick Cannings for a lecture on Why Birds Matter, the theme for World Migratory Bird Day 2014. Cannings will also be announcing the winning bird of Vancouver’s first City Bird competition. The free event is tonight from 7 to 8: 30 p. m. in the Alice MacKay room on the lower Level of the Central Library, 350 W.
