OUT OF TOWN PROPERTIES

-

It’s at this time of year, when the days are becoming warmer and the promise of summer is just weeks away, that many of us are plotting seasonal getaways. Here at Westcoast Homes, that’s also on our minds. For most of the year, we take a look at many of the new residential projects that are transforming the landscape in Metro Vancouver: the towers and townhomes that are taking shape along our transit corridors, the single- family homes installed in master- planned communities, the shimmering highrises in the heart of the region. But starting today — and through to September — we’ll also be looking elsewhere. In the weeks ahead, we’ll be bringing you Out of Town Properties, a seasonal feature within Westcoast Homes that will profile new- home projects outside Metro: on Vancouver Island, in the Okanagan, at Whistler — and occasionally, outside the B. C. borders. Call it our seasonal getaway. We’ll take a look at a variety of new- home options, some large scale, some modest in scope. Some may be recreational in nature, while others may be better suited as an owner’s primary residence. Today, in this year’s first instalment of Out of Town Properties, we’re heading out of the country, but not far away: to Point Roberts, Wash., where the spotlight is on The Cottages at Seabright Farm.
