Fraserview: Just might be the best municipal course in Canada.

Furry Creek: Those amazing views will help you forget about a few lost golf balls.

Hazelmere: Transformed in recent years into a fi rst- class course and practice facility.

Langara: The shortest of Vancouver’s three munis, but watch out for those tricky greens.

McCleery: Another terrifi c Vancouver muni. Back nine can be a brute.

Mayfair Lakes: Fun course that is always in great shape. You’ll learn that golf balls don’t fl oat.

Meadow Gardens: Watch out for the island green on the par 5 18th.

Morgan Creek: Solid south Surrey layout is always in pristine shape.

Northlands: Lots of ups and downs on this pretty tree- lined North Vancouver track.

Northview: Ridge course was home to PGA Tour event from 1996- 2002.

Pagoda Ridge: Newcomer on local golf scene has made quite a fi rst impression.

Peace Portal: Playing here never gets old. Quintessential West Coast golf.

Redwoods: A round at this scenic Langley layout is a little like a walk in the park.

Riverway: If Fraserview is top muni in area, then this Burnaby track is a close second.

Sandpiper: OK, not really Metro Vancouver, but this Harrison Mills course is a gem.

Surrey: This course boasts a 630yard par 5. Good luck hitting it in two.

Swan- e- set Bay: Great place to get away from it all and play a round. What a clubhouse!

Westwood Plateau: High above it all in Coquitlam, many of the holes are as good as the views.
