BOXED BEAUTY

Glossybox, the monthly beauty box service, has landed in Canada.

The company, which launched in the U.S. in 2012, will bring its luxury product offerings from brands such as Bulgari, Burberry Beauty, Toni & Guy, OPI and Sisley to Canadian beauty fans for $21 per box. “Because we are a global company it was a natural next step to expand our operations into Canada,” Charles von Abercron, Global CEO and founder of Glossybox, said in a press release. “Our team in North America is top notch, as evidenced through recent partnerships like Bergdorf Goodman, Harper’s Bazaar and OPI and we wanted to build on the excitement by sharing the box with our Canadian customers.”

Billed as a “beauty discovery platform,” Glossybox allows shoppers the opportunity to try out a selection of products from five categories such as skin care and makeup each month — many of which are the perfect size for travel.
