Winning auction bidders go to top of the waiting list
One percenters need only apply. That, in five short words, sums up those who will be raising their paddles, and onlookers’ eyebrows, at next weekend’s charity auction for Mount Saint Joseph Hospital.
The hospital charity has collaborated with McLaren Vancouver, Jaguar Land Rover Canada, Ferrari Maserati of Vancouver, BMW/Ducati Vancouver and ADESA Public Auctions to auction off the option to be the first in British Columbia to own one of the following eight amazing vehicles:
2015 McLaren 650s MSO Edition
This will be the first delivered in British Columbia and the only one in Western Canada. Retail price: $427,611 plus taxes.
2015 Maserati Levante SUV
Winning bidder will own the first model, Maserati’s first 5-seater luxury SUV, to be delivered to B. C. Retail price: starting at $ 100,000 plus taxes.
2015 Range Rover Sport SVR
This Rover is the most powerful production model ever, and the fastest SUV in the world to lap Nurburgring. Top bidder will own the first delivered in B.C. Retail
price: starting at $110,475, plus taxes.
2016 Range Rover
Winning bidder gets to skip the typical 18 to 24 month wait time for a choice of any edition of Range Rover in just three months. Retail range price: starting at $100,590 - $155,590.
2015 McLaren Le Mans Edition
The winning bidder will get the opportunity to own the first and only edition sold in Western Canada, and one of only 50 worldwide. Retail price: $431,805 plus taxes.
2016 McLaren Sports Series
The bidder will have a chance to own the first model delivered in B.C., and the last available for Western Canada. Retail price range: $205,000-$248,000.
2016 McLaren 675LT
As with its stablemate, the first model delivered in B.C., and the last available allocation for Western Canada. Retail price: $497,780.
2015 Ducati Diavel Titanium
Winning bidder gets the chance to crack the throttle on the first delivered in the B.C., and one of just 500 produced. Retail price: $29,995 plus freight and taxes.
One-hundred per cent of the proceeds of each auction option will benefit the Tapestry Foundation for Health Care campaign to buy a new CT scanner for Mount Saint Joseph hospital. The hospital’s annual fundraising auction/dinner gala, called the Scotiabank Feast of Fortune, takes place Feb. 7 at the Hyatt Hotel in Vancouver.
