The wind’s died down but the cars are revved up
Two shows cancelled last weekend are hoping to reschedule for this season
This weekend’s weather report looks more favourable than last, and one of the premier do-not-miss shows of the year is being held at Blackie Spit in Crescent Beach.
Big treats always show up for this show, so it’s well worth the trip into South Surrey.
It started a few years ago in Gastown back when Vancouver liked cars, but luckily moved to this prime location close to the one of the greatest beaches around. Park and stroll down the beach after looking at the cars.
Two shows that were cancelled last weekend due to the storm are hopefully going to be held at a later date. My buddies at PISRA are trying to reschedule their Return to Bradner show this Sunday. Check their website for the latest info (pisra.com). Same goes for the Pemberton show (pembertonlions.com).
This is a very rare weekend for us Lower Mainlanders as we can easily go to five of the six events taking place this weekend. You can make all six by hopping a ferry for Campbell River on Sunday — and bring a kid along.
