Increase productive farmland by 91,000 hectares over the 2.6 million hectares that are currently in use for agriculture.
Grow exports
Build international markets by $800 million from the current base of $3 billion.
More fish
Increase production in aquaculture by 14 per cent and boost the value of the wild fishery by 13 per cent.
Buy local
Grow domestic demand for B.C. products by 43 per cent ($2.3 billion) through Buy Local promotions and local procurement by retailers and public institutions.
Break down barriers
Expand interprovincial trade opportunities recently achieved for B.C. wine to other products, for an increase of 27 per cent ($1.1 billion) in revenue.
