UPC: 877591002771 Siduri’s RRV Pinot is a blend of 18 individual lots of Pinot Noir. The 2013 vintage was magic for Pinot in Sonoma County and an even better followup to the very good 2012 vintage. The 2013 blends several sub-appellations for complexity including the Russian River Valley, including the Upper-Reach, Middle — Reach, Green Valley, and the Santa Rosa Plain. The combination lends a sense of complexity to the wine, although at just under 15 per cent it’s no shrinking violet. The nose is open and forward with rich, spicy, dark red fruits, rich silky supple tannins and a warm earthy finish. A hedonistic New World style for those who love their Pinot rich.
