Double standard on innocence

Laura Miller is being reinstated to her previous job, despite having yet to go to trial. Christy Clark said, “It’s the fair and right approach — one that respects our court process, including the fundamenta­l principle that every person is innocent unless proven otherwise.” Was this same important principle applied when the health workers were fired and one committed suicide? Could there be two sets of fair approaches in this province — one for the elite, and one for the masses?
