Q Gentle Fawn has recently designed a kimono scarf in partnership with Keep A Breast. How did this partnership come about? A We came across Keep A Breast when we were looking for a charity to partner with. We wanted to align ourselves with a charity that gave back to young women. Keep A Breast’s mission is to empower young people around the world with breast health education and support, it seemed like the perfect partner. From there, we worked with the charity to see how Gentle Fawn could help their cause. Our kimono scarves are a favourite of our customer, so it seemed perfect to design a custom tie-dye kimono for them. Q Why is this initiative important to Gentle Fawn? A We are so proud to be raising awareness for the Keep A Breast Foundation. Breast cancer is a disease that has affected all our lives. Q How will Keep A Breast benefit from the sale of each kimono scarf? A Our mission is to raise awareness and money for Keep A Breast. Thirty-five per cent of the sales of the kimono scarves will go to Keep A Breast, where they will be using the funding towards their “check yourself” program educating how to do self- examinations and breast health. Q How are you spreading the word about this unique kimono? A We have partnered up with over 80 influencers across North America to help raise awareness for the campaign. You can see our custom kimono being worn by some amazing women who are helping us spread the word on the campaign. Q As a Vancouver- based brand, why is it important for your team to partner on charitable and community-based initiatives like this one? A We are extremely proud to be a Vancouver-based brand, so giving back to our com- munity is exceptionally important to us. We have been doing corporate charitable activities, such as clothing donations to the Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation and food/supply drives for the SPCA. The staff at Gentle Fawn love giving back, so we wanted to take it one step further and do something with the brand on a North American scale. Q Are the kimonos made here? A The kimonos are custommade and dyed at our manufacturer in Hong Kong. Q How much are the Gentle Fawn Keep a Breast kimonos? A

$50. Q Where can shoppers find this piece? A They can shop at gentlefawn.com and at the 115 stores across North America that have partnered with us to sell the kimono. Customers can use our store locator to find a store near them.
