Jenner joins cast of hit Amazon series
Caitlyn Jenner is joining the cast of the acclaimed Amazon streaming series Transparent.
The show’s creator Jill Soloway called the news “a dream come true” in an interview Saturday at the GLAAD Media Awards.
Soloway would not reveal any details about Jenner’s character, but she said they will begin shooting her scenes next week. Jenner will appear in the upcoming third season. In Canada, Transparent streams on Shomi.
At the GLAAD Media Awards on Saturday, Jenner’s E! reality series I am Cait tied with TLC’s I Am Jazz for outstanding reality program. Transparent won for outstanding comedy series.
