PANTHERS MOURN OT-LOSS NO- CALL

-

Give the Florida Panthers credit for taking the high road after being eliminated thanks to a game that featured a blown call. The Panthers’ Vincent Trocheck was poised to take a shot at the empty net when he was tripped. No penalty was called. Moments later, John Tavares tied the score. The Panthers would eventually lose 2-1, ending Florida’s playoff run. “It’s a tough call; it’s a fast game. It wasn’t much, but the game would have been over. It’s tough to swallow,” Panthers coach Gerard Gallant (pictured) said.
