DRESS FOR SUCCESS ANNOUNCES FUNDRAISER

Style and philanthropic endeavours combine at Dress for Success Vancouver.

The charity, which supports local women who are entering or reentering the workforce with clothing and support, will host its annual fundraiser IMPACT 360 on May 12.

The event raises money for the sponsorship of Dress for Success’s Sponsor a Woman program, which allows donors to sponsor a recipient for one year, valued at $360 of support.

“IMPACT is one of our favourite events,” Jennifer Halinda, executive director of Dress for Success, said in a news release. “It’s a fun evening of meeting women and men who support our local success. Most importantly, it’s our biggest opportunity to honour our clients as well as raise valuable funds to help more women. We are very grateful to our community who support this event every year, making it not only possible but a really fun evening.”

The event, which will be held at the Regency Lexus showroom in Kitsilano, will feature live music, cocktails, fashion show, door prizes, networking and a live auction.
