Arrival at 443 Maritime Helicopter Squadron in Victoria. Official welcome ceremony at the Legislative Assembly.
Sunday, Sept. 25 — Vancouver Morning:
Arrival at the Vancouver Harbour Flight Centre. Welcome at Jack Poole Plaza. Visit to the Sheway charity on the Downtown Eastside.
Afternoon: Visit to the Immigrant Services Society of B.C. Reception at Telus Gardens with Canadian youth. First responders showcase at the Kitsilano Coast Guard Station.
Monday, Sept. 26 — Bella Bella and Victoria Afternoon:
Arrival at Bella Bella. Aerial tour of the Great Bear Rainforest. Welcome by the Heiltsuk First Nation. Boat tour of McLoughlin Bay. Reception at Government House in Victoria.
Tuesday, Sept. 27 — Kelowna and Whitehorse Afternoon:
Arrival at the University of B.C. Okanagan to watch a volleyball game. A stop at Mission Hill Family Estate. Official arrival in Yukon at Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport. Visit to the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre in Whitehorse.
Wednesday, Sept. 28 — Whitehorse and Carcross, Yukon
Visit to the MacBride Museum of Yukon History. Community festival on Main Street. Traditional welcome ceremony in Carcross. Mountain biking demonstration.
Thursday, Sept. 29 — Victoria Morning:
Children’s tea party hosted by Government House.
Friday, Sept. 30 — Haida Gwaii Morning:
Canoe trip from Skidegate Landing to Haida Heritage Centre and Museum in Haida Gwaii.
Afternoon: First Nations welcome at the Haida Heritage Centre and Museum. Visit to the new Haida Gwaii General Hospital in Queen Charlotte. Boat ride and fishing with youth from Skidegate Youth Centre.
Saturday, Oct. 1 — Victoria Morning:
Visit to the Cridge Centre for the Family. Meeting with members of the Kelty Mental Health Resources Centre. Sailing a tall ship with SALTS Sail and Life Training Society and Jack.org.
Afternoon: Official departure from Victoria’s Inner Harbour seaplane terminal.
