Foul play suspected in Richmond death

Police are investigat­ing the death of a man in Richmond in what they believe is a case of foul play. Mounties were called to Richmond General Hospital just before midnight Friday after an “unresponsi­ve male” was brought in. “When officers arrived, the male was suffering from injuries consistent with foul play,” Cpl. Dennis Hwang of Richmond RCMP said in a statement. The man died a short time later. His death is being considered a homicide and IHIT was brought in. “This is believed to be a targeted homicide,” said Hwang.
