Foul play suspected in Richmond death

Mounties were called to Richmond General Hospital just before midnight Friday after an “unresponsive male” was brought in. “When officers arrived, the male was suffering from injuries consistent with foul play,” Cpl. Dennis Hwang of Richmond RCMP said in a statement. The man died a short time later. His death is being considered a homicide and IHIT was brought in. “This is believed to be a targeted homicide,” said Hwang. Anyone with information relating to the death is asked to call 1-877-551-IHIT (4448), email ihittipline@rcmp-grc.gc.ca, or call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222TIPS (8477).
