But there are other wines to be had, such as this little red blend from the less than famous Blaye appellation. It hails from the highly lauded 2010 vintage and at six years old it is showing its stuff at a bargain price — at least for Bordeaux. Fully mature now, it’s a delicious mix of red and black fruits with no overpowering oak.
