Botanical Body Cream They say: A line of body creams from the Vancouverbased (and made!) brand Sangre de Fruta. The line features locally sourced, organic and plant-based ingredients with a focus on texture — the body creams boast a “whippedbutter consistency.”

We say: Our tester tried the Rose No. 1 body cream, a thick and creamy concoction that features Rose Otto oil, which is steam-distilled from Bulgarian roses. The scent is subtle and divine — you don’t have to be a fan of rosy scents in order to appreciate it. While the cream was a tad oily (a little goes a long way), it was intensely hydrating and left skin feeling saturated and soft.
