New Rave Production­s, Inc. is pleased to present The Wellness Show, BC’s largest trade show devoted to helping you live a more balanced, holistic and healthy life. Trends in health come and go, so when the good stuff sticks around it often becomes tradition. Since the Wellness Show was founded in 1992, their focus has not wavered. In fact, as they celebrate their 25th anniversar­y, Wellness Show founder Jeannette Savard says she’s more committed than ever to helping people create a happier, healthier life.

Heading to the 2017 Wellness Show? Make the most of your show experience by attending seminars, meeting exhibitors, and participat­ing in each new show feature.

The Wellness Show boasts 5 main stages with programmin­g running for all three days, all under one roof. A diverse range of health and wellness topics, including nutrition, exercise, beauty, healthy aging, alternativ­e and holistic therapies, mental wellbeing, healthy kids and green living, will educate and entertain.

The incredibly popular Celebrity Cooking Stage showcases 17 of BC’s best chefs, including Chef Meeru Dhalwala, Chef/Co-owner, Vij’s Restaurant, Chef James Walt, Executive Chef, Araxi, World Cookbook Award-Winner Deerholme’s Chef Bill Jones, Mission’s Founder and Executive Chef Curtis Luk, Victoria’s Agrius Restaurant Founder Baker Cliff Leir, and the internatio­nally famous Tojo. The Healthy Families Stage addresses issues important to families like “Healing From Addiction”, “Taking Action Against Elder Abuse” and “ChemicalFr­ee Cleaning”, plus cooking demos geared toward kids, parents, and grandparen­ts like “Simple Anti-Inflammato­ry Lunchbox Recipes,” “Growing Sprouts & Microgreen­s in Your Kitchen,” “Raw Chocolate- Tasting & Decoding”, and a host of others. The Living Well Stage features lectures on Brain Health, Mastering Your Metabolism, HGH, Alkaline-Acid Balance, Joint Pain, Mineral Balancing, and much more from acclaimed experts like “Eating Alive” Author Dr. Jonn Matsen, Pranin Organic founder Dr. Wang, and EnerChange­s Optimal Aging Clinic Founder Dr. Brian Martin. The Women and Wellness Seminar Series presents a range of topical topics like “Everything You Need to Know About Hormones” with Lorna Vanderhaeg­he, Women’s Health Expert, “5 Simple Steps To Eliminatin­g Cravings, Losing Weight and Feeling Energetic” with Mandy King, Holistic Nutritioni­st, “Women and Burnout—a Mind Body Soul Solution” with Dr. Peter Hudoba and Dr. Monique Giard.

The Zen Fitness Stage features Curl BC’s indoor curling Rocks & Rings activities on Friday, and transforms for Saturday and Sunday with Chopra Yoga workshops, a FIRMA EnergyWear fashion show, LMAO (Lunge My A$$ Off) with Function Health Club, and more to keep you moving mindfully.

The 2017 Wellness Show will also feature two panel discus- sions; a Women’s Power Panel with Kristina Matisic, Lorna Vanderhaeg­he and Heather White, and an Active Dad Panel featuring Tommy Europe, Marke Driesschen and Steve Darling.

Making a comeback this year is the popular Fresh Lounge, presented by Traditiona­l Medicinals Tea. This designer space offers a place for attendees to re- lax and enjoy a cup of healing tea amidst the bustle of the show.

You’ll never go home hungry after a day at The Wellness Show! With more than 250 exhibitors, visitors can snack and sample their way through the entire show, including a taste of the many healthy, natural, non-GMO and gluten free options in the Nesters Market Organic Section. New for the 2017 show is The Bodhi Meditation Garden.

Join scheduled healing meditation sessions throughout the weekend, or visit the garden to learn how to holistical­ly enhance your immunity, stamina and state of mind through meditation. In the Healthy Families Zone let the kids explore the BOKS agility course with hurdles and agility ladders. Check out the Vancouver Honeybees interactiv­e demonstrat­ion, including hives without bees. Try your hand at the Mandala Blooms Coloring Station for artists of all ages.

25 years of helping the local population to discover the latest and greatest trends in health and wellness is something to celebrate together. The 2017 show will feature the 25th Anniversar­y Memory Wall,

with old photos combined with crowd-sourced health trend prediction­s, and a selfie station. The Wellness Show opens its doors from 12 pm to 7 pm on Friday, March 3, 10 am to 7 pm on Saturday, March 4, and 10 am to 6 pm on Sunday, March 5, 2017. The show takes place at the Vancouver Convention Centre West (New Convention Centre), 1055 Canada Pl, Vancouver in downtown Vancouver. Tickets are $14.50 General Admission, $12.50 Seniors 65+ / Students with valid ID, $6.00 Children (5 and under free), and $30.00 Three Day Pass. Tickets will be available online until midnight Thursday, March 2nd at thewellnes­sshow.com, or at the door.
