Surrey man, 70, charged in shooting

A 70-year-old man gas been charged in a Surrey shooting and standoff over the weekend. Kenneth Turpin, 70, is charged with aggravated assault and intent to injure while using a firearm in the incident in the 1300-block of 176th Street. The victim was taken to hospital and is in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
