Suddenly solid Lakers knock off the Knicks

-

When the Los Angeles Lakers complement their uptempo offence with solid defence, the long-struggling team looks pretty good. Even without Lonzo Ball, the Lakers ran right past the New York Knicks in a 127-107 rout Sunday in Los Angeles for their sixth win in eight games. Jordan Clarkson had 29 points and 10 assists, while Julius Randle added 27 points and 12 rebounds. Rookie point guard Alex Caruso set career highs with nine points and eight assists, making the most of more than 30 minutes of playing time while Ball missed his fourth straight game with a sore left knee.
