SO LONG, FAREWELL: MAN ARRESTED AFTER CONCERT-GOER STRUCK
A man has been charged after a concert-goer was attacked in what police are calling a case of road rage following a showing of “The Sound of Music” in Winnipeg. Police say a 63-year-old man was being picked up after the show at the Centennial Concert Hall on Jan. 6 and was trying to get into the back of an SUV. They say that’s when someone got out of a Mercedes-Benz and punched him in the upper body. Justin Peter Karpluk, 20, of West St. Paul, Man., has been charged with aggravated assault and detained.
