ALT-V: A BENEFIT FOR WISH

How do you tackle a day like Valentine’s Day when your taste in relating doesn’t fit the standard modes? Cass King & The Next Right Thing includes members who are bi and polyamorous, and don’t really jive with the whole traditional relationship celebration thing. So they have joined up with DJ Slade to throw a party for “LGBT+, poly, straight, nonbinary, cis, single, asexual, in a relationship, looking, or any combination thereof.” A night of diversely funky good times awaits, and the proceeds go to WISH, an organization to improve the working conditions of women working in the Vancouver’s street-based sex trade.
