There aren’t many peo­ple who will de­fend the month of Fe­bru­ary: It’s al­most al­ways dark, over­cast, wet, and of­ten cold. Just when it seemed like Jan­uary was start­ing to brighten up; slam. But one thing that can re­ally liven up spir­its and get you in a de­light­fully cleansed state of be­ing be­fore a night out is a steam and a hot tub “ex­ec­u­tive work­out.” As a long­time mem­ber of the awe­some YWCA down­town, I can tes­tify that noth­ing works quite as well this time of year than sweat­ing it out. Throw in a swim, or a work­out if you feel like it. Or just do a sec­ond round through the steam and tub.
