Beach blanket? Check. Popcorn? Yep. The Evo Summer Cinema lineup?

You got it, dude.

The lineup for the 2018 Evo Summer Cinema series has been released and it’s full of classics from the 1980s, ’90s and ’00s.

This year’s series also marks the 10th anniversary of the free, outdoor, movie nights in Vancouver.

The movies screen every Tuesday evening beginning July 3 through Aug. 21 at Stanley Park’s Second Beach. Check out the lineup below and read on for more information about reserved seating:

July 3: The Princess Bride July 10: Stand By Me

July 17: The Lion King

July 24: Mean Girls

July 31: Spice World

Aug. 7: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off Aug. 14: Grease

Aug. 21: Titanic

While the lawn is general seating and free to anyone, those who would prefer to sit in a lawn chair and have prime, unobstructed views can buy front-row VIP seats for $20 a seat, plus taxes and service fees.

There are 200 reserved seats per show. Those looking for a more sit-down dining experience before heading to the movie can buy a dinner and a movie package that includes a three-course meal at select West End restaurants and a reserved seat at the movie.

Movies typically begin after sunset, though filmgoers are known to set up camp early in the day and enjoy snacks from local food trucks and quality time with friends before the film starts.
