The release date for Rae Spoon’s new album hits a number of important points on the calendar. It was 20 years ago that this non-binary artist performed their first show. A decade ago, the album superioryouareinferior established the singer-songwriter as one of Canada’s most intriguing voices. Their ninth album explores bodies and water, and relates to this former Albertan’s home on Vancouver Island. Opening act respectfulchild is the name of Saskatoon electroacoustic act Gan.
