Britain’s Foreign Office has released a list of some the oddest requests it receives from befuddled travellers including headscratchers about movie plots, reality dancing contests and whether Poland has vampires. Among questions culled from 330,000 U.K. citizens needing help, one person wanted details on the plot of the 1995 Mel Gibson film Braveheart, one queried the bill for a massage parlour in Thailand and another wanted the lowdown on the undead in eastern Europe. Embassy officials said the man asking about vampires had explained that he met a woman online who had asked about his blood type before agreeing to a first date.
