Harris loses battle to sea urchin

Neil Patrick Harris had surgery Tuesday after falling on a sea urchin while on vacation with his family, according to People. “I tripped and hand planted onto a sea urchin almost two months ago while climbing rocky cliffs in Croatia,” he said on Instagram post-operation. The urchin pierced a tendon in his hand, but he thought he would be able to remove it on his own. “Most of the tiny spines I dug out myself, but two refused to leave and one got infected,” he said.
