Nightly pot-banging cacophony is frightening for our pets

-

I am so glad everyone is in support of all the health-care workers who are the heroes working so hard during this awful time, but the

7 p.m. banging and screaming is not an excuse to have Halloween every evening. It does not work for the pets. They are scared to death of the noise. My cat immediately runs to the bedroom and hides under the bed. There are also a few who have used this time as an excuse to set off fireworks, which scares them even more, to the point that they shake, hide and pee themselves.

Please show your support on social media instead of screaming, banging and setting off fireworks.
