BAKERIES CREATING EASTER BUNNIES WITH PROTECTIVE MASKS

COVID-19 may have brought Easter celebrations around the world to a grinding halt, but many bakeries are determined to keep some cheer going. One such bakery in north-central France has taken a page out of the health safety playbook and adorned its chocolate Easter Bunnies with white masks, made of white marzipan and gently placed over the bunnies’ mouths and noses. Other bakeries around the world have adopted the theme and have dressed up their chocolate bunnies as nurses, adorned with face masks and gloves. Others are pictured with vaccine paraphernalia by their feet and holding tiny rolls of toilet paper. Several owners have described their creations as a salute to the health care workers treating victims of the pandemic.
