KRATZER, Peter Thomas

March 12, 1947 - April 25, 2020

The family of Peter Kratzer are saddened to announce his passing on April 25,2020. He is survived by his loving family, wife, Ann and daughters, Jillian (husband Brad) and Lauren (husband Charlie) and grandson, Nolan. He is also survived by other family members, colleagues and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Winnie and Joe, and his brother, Tom.

Peter was born on March 12,1947 in Kamloops, BC. He spent his childhood and youth growing up in Barriere, BC. While he spent his adult life in the Lower Mainland, he remained a country boy at heart. Some of his favourite times were at the Mitchell Cattle Ranch in Barriere, the Chinook Golf Course and Adam's Lake.

Family was everything to Peter. He loved being involved with his daughter's activities, whether it was watching their sports, driving a team to games or mucking out a stall.

Peter was a successful business man, operating his own company for 35 years. Golf was a passion and he loved his games with family and friends.

Peter endured Alzheimer's disease for the last eight years of his life. He bore this illness with humour and courage. The family will always be grateful to Rosemary Heights in Surrey, for the compassionate care he received. A celebration of Peter's life will be held at a later date, details will be announced. He will be greatly missed and remembered forever.
