Sheeran surprises music students

-

Ed Sheeran surprised pupils at a London primary school with a online music lesson during a video call with his teacher friend. Sheeran is good pals with Timothy Spoerer, the music director at Ecclesbourne Primary School, so he was happy to oblige when asked to treat the class to a chat and a quick tutorial. Sheeran told them he thought he was “an idiot for a very long time” because he couldn’t do things like math, science or English at school. But once he found his calling was music, his life turned around for the better. “I loved playing music, that’s what made me happiest,” he said. “My dad always said to me, ‘If you want to be a musician, work really hard at it.’”
