Optimal ventilation key to opening schools, restaurants
One consideration for opening schools and restaurants that has not received much attention is air exchange and ventilation. Being in closed spaces increases the likelihood of virus spread, hence the recommendation to meet outdoors. As winter approaches, meeting indoors will become the norm. Schools and restaurants would be safer spaces if ventilation systems are optimum and effective. I suggest that our government and health officials make ventilation of indoor spaces a priority.
