Musical son signs Sony deal

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe’s musician son has landed a major record deal with Sony Music. Deacon Phillippe, 16, has signed with the label after his first single, Long Run, featuring Nina Nesbitt, debuted in July. News of the deal comes after Scooter Braun, manager for Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato, showed an interest in the budding star, congratulating him on Instagram.
