Blanchett joins Pinocchio movie

Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton are joining Ewan McGregor for Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio revamp. They have signed to appear in his stop-motion animated musical version of Carlo Collodi’s classic tale, along with Christoph Waltz, Finn Wolfhard, Ron Perlman, John Turturro and others. Robert Zemeckis is also working on a live-action Pinocchio with Tom Hanks.
