SPCA making a difference

-

Congratulations to the B.C. SPCA for 125 years of providing care to animals in need throughout the province. The SPCA has greatly reduced the number of homeless animals in our province through aggressive spay-neuter programs, improved standards of care for farm animals, and rehabilitated countless injured and orphaned wildlife. Through their summer camps, workshops and Bark magazine, they are educating future generations to the value of animals as sentient beings.

A strong advocate, they have mobilized citizens to be a voice against animal cruelty, leading to B.C. having the strongest animal-cruelty laws in Canada. I am confident they will continue to address the challenges ahead as they work toward compassionate communities where all animals have the quality of life they deserve. Cindy Soules, B.C. SPCA volunteer
