CHANEL LIMITED-EDITION ROUGE ALLURE LUMINOUS INTENSE LIP COLOUR

They say: From the Holiday 2020 Collection, these limited-edition lipstick formulas from Chanel are “enriched with radiant golden sparkles” to shine throughout the season.

We say: Boasting a satin texture, the luminous lipsticks provide pigmented colour with a kiss of subtle gold sparkle. Our tester fell for the hue Or Beige, a neutral nude that felt perfect for adding a kiss of colour to her workfrom-home beauty routine. $57 | Chanel, chanel.com

LOTUS AROMA REFRESHING MICELLAR SOLUTION

They say: A micellar solution that cleans and removes makeup and impurities. Free of soap and alcohol, the plant-based formula features rose and melilot floral waters to “eliminate toxins,” along with grapeseed extract to “protect” skin.

We say: Our tester found this gentle micellar cleanser worked well to remove most makeup, save for a trace of waterproof mascara. Leaving no greasiness or filminess on skin, the product left skin with a soft, clean and slightly hydrated feel.

PUREOLOGY SHINE BRIGHT TA MING HAIR SERUM

They say: A lightweight hair serum that “adds shine, smooths frizz and tames fly-aways.” The 100 per cent vegan formula boasts an “Antifade Complex” to protect colour-treated hair, while also protecting against heat damage and environmental stressors.

We say: This product gave our tester's frizz-prone hair a sleek, smooth look without weighing down her fine strands. Boasting an aromatherapy-inspired scent — cedar and tuberose — the serum had her hair looking sleek and smelling nice.
