Kim's star Liu celebrated

Kim's Convenience star Simu Liu is among the 100 Most Impactful Asians of the Year, as named by non-profit organization Gold House. The actor starred in the Canadian comedy for five seasons and now headlines the upcoming Marvel film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Others on the list include director Chloé Zhao, K-pop group Blackpink, singer H.E.R., and actors Riz Ahmed, Olivia Munn, Gemma Chan and Kelly Marie Tran. The annual A100 list celebrates Asians, Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) who work to increase representation of their race and heritage in the public eye.
