Poultry plant closed by COVID-19 outbreak

A Surrey poultry plant has been ordered to temporarily close because of a COVID-19 outbreak. The Fraser Health Authority says 29 staff members have tested positive for the virus at Sunrise Poultry Processors Ltd. Fraser Health says there have been no reported cases of food or food packaging being associated with the transmission of COVID-19 and there is no recall of products distributed from this plant.
