Rock trailblaze­r Price dead


R&B and rock trailblaze­r Lloyd Price has died at age 88 from complicati­ons due to diabetes. Discovered at age 19, Price shot to fame in 1952 with the song Lawdy Miss Clawdy, featuring Fats Domino on piano. He released other singles such as Personalit­y, Stagger Lee, I'm Going to Get Married, Lady Luck and Question, while Lawdy Miss Clawdy was later covered by Elvis Presley, Little Richard, and Paul McCartney.
