HECKER, Stanley Jimmy

It is with profound sadness that the family of Stanley Hecker announce his sudden passing on May 6th, 2021. Born in Vancouver, Stan graduated from Britannia Highschool and UBC and enjoyed a successful career as a High School teacher. Stan jumped into retirement to continue his voracious and inexhaustible love for travelling and reading. He never saw a tropical beach that he did not try and walk the length of, and he taught us to always have a cold bottle of champagne ready in the fridge.

Stan is survived by Margaret (Corky) his loving wife of 58 years, his daughter Melanie (Bill), his son Benjamin (Marlene) and his grandson Braden.

A service cannot be held yet, so please take a moment now to remember Stan and share a toast to a great man, who will be deeply missed by all.
