Mental health help appreciated Re: Mental health agency lobbies for overhaul of B.C. system

I enjoyed reading Dan Fumano's excellent column about Coast Mental Health and Dr. Macewan's response to help mentally ill people access the system when they need it. My son has been helped by Coast for over 30 years, and Dr. Macewan has always been at the forefront of innovative ideas that work. The government could not get better assistance for devising better ways of helping the mentally ill than Coast Mental Health. For decades, it has shown how to care for mentally ill people, and as a mother of someone who has been helped, I am extremely supportive of their ideas.
