THE BRADY BUNCH
The Brady Bunch was the perfect representation of a modern American family, which can often be blended with children from previous relationships. Early in the series, mother Carol Brady (played by Florence Henderson) says that the only “steps” in their house lead to the second floor — there are no stepchildren, only children. At the time the show aired, this was a radical view, but it immediately made viewers across the country feel connected with the Bradys. Through thick and thin, antics and mistakes, the family sticks together and fills their home with love and understanding. The show also stars Robert Reed, Barry Williams, Christopher Knight and Mike Lookinland as the male half of the household and Maureen Mccormick, Eve Plumb, Susan Olsen and Ann B. Davis as the ladies.
