I am tired of attempts by mainstream media like The Record to manipulate my opinion on subjects like illegal immigration. A front page with the green eyes and soft fuzzy countenance of a recently arrested border crosser is only the latest clever ploy in a blatant leftist plot to overcome my outrage at the influx of so-called refugees.

If we admit these “fureigners” they’ll breed like animals and exert undue influence. They’ll be encouraging us to slow down, take catnaps in the sun, and spend more time than our bosses allow for personal grooming. Just imagine a civilization where our children start imitating the boundless curiosity for which this species is famous.

Your photo cleverly avoids revealing the great potential for terrorism in every illegal immigrant. An impassive face hides devious plotting. Whiskers conceal teeth ready to bite the hand that feeds them. Paws sheath razor-sharp claws ready to rip couches and curtains to shreds. Without a couch to watch TV and curtains to hide behind, we might interact with neighbours, destroying our great Canadian tradition of reclusiveness. Watch our Canadian values disintegrate as the pussy willow replaces the maple leaf.
