Three youths arrested after knifepoint robbery
Three youths have been charged in a knifepoint robbery in Kitchener. On Wednesday at 8:20 p.m., a young person was robbed at knifepoint by three young men in the area of Glasgow Street and Ira Needles Boulevard, said Waterloo Regional Police. The three youths fled on foot and boarded a Grand River Transit bus at The Boardwalk. Shortly after, they were located and arrested by police on a bus in the area of Queens Boulevard and Elm Ridge Drive at 8:50 p.m. The three are each facing a charge of robbery with a weapon. Two have also been charged with breach of probation, failure to comply with undertaking and drug-related charges.
