Police investigate confrontation

-

Waterloo Regional Police say a 19-year-old man alleges he was confronted outside of his residence on Colton Circle in Kitchener at 2:30 a.m. on Thursday. The man said he had just returned home from a gathering when a black SUV pulled up and two occupants wearing balaclavas exited the vehicle and told him to “drop everything,” said police. The victim fled and the two suspects returned to their vehicle and left. When the victim returned home, a silver four-door Hyundai pulled into his neighbour’s driveway and the black SUV returned. Police say the front passenger of the SUV pointed what appeared to be a gun across the vehicle’s roof. There were no injuries and nothing was taken. Anyone with information can contact police at 519-570-9777.
