WATER­LOO RE­GION — Fire­works, a plant sale, a base­ball game and more in the re­gion this long week­end.

There’s a lot to do in the re­gion this week­end, here’s the short­list:

Cel­e­brate Vic­to­ria Day with the whole fam­ily in New Dundee where there will be two whole days of cel­e­bra­tion. On Sun­day, en­joy bar­be­cue, the beer gar­den, mu­sic and fire­works and on Mon­day come back for com­mu­nity garage sales, a pa­rade, silent auc­tion, a car show and more. En­joy the sun­shine with a ball game at Jack Couch Ball Park. On Sun­day af­ter­noon the Kitch­ener Pan­thers take on the Hamil­ton Car­di­nals.

On Satur­day, spend some time in Water­loo. The Gar­den Club of Kitch­ener-Water­loo is hold­ing a plant sale and the Water­loo Pub­lic Li­brary is hold­ing a Bike Tune-up Booga­loo. Bring your bi­cy­cle to the main branch and learn how to do a tune-up and ba­sic re­pairs.

A psy­chic fair is com­ing to Kitch­ener. For the en­tire week­end at Binge­mans there will be ven­dors, psy­chic, tarot and palm read­ers, medi­ums, mysitics and more. Also planned are a num­ber of lec­tures and door prizes. Ad­mis­sion is $12.
