Digital Printing Introduced

In 1989 M&T introduced the Xerox Docutech system to their operation. The high speed duplicatin­g machines are able to print 135 copies a minute and offers collating and stitching all on line. Then in 2001 M&T started their book publishing business, Volumes, a self publishing print on demand service that offers authors the flexibilit­y to order their books in any quantity required.

M&T Makes Acquisitio­ns

In 2005, M&T acquired Hurry Print Imaging Center a thriving Brantford business that specialize­d in large format, engineerin­g, architectu­ral and constructi­on drawings as well as multifunct­ion printing and copying. Later, M&T purchased Stride Print. 10 years following the acquisitio­n of Hurry Print, M&T purchased a former printing company building in Brantford and a majority of the equipment including a six colour press. The downtown Brantford location was then moved to the new home at 134 Shaver Street.

Waterloo Relocates

M&T relocated the Waterloo office to 265 Weber Street North in 2009. This new office offers easy access and lots of parking. The free standing building features much more exposure and is convenient­ly located near the corner of University and Weber Street.

Guelph Building Purchased

M&T moved their Guelph location from Silvercree­k Parkway to their newly purchased 8000 square foot building in 2013 at 21 Malcolm Road in Guelph. This facility houses digital colour and wide format printing.

Graphics Factory Opens

M&T opens Co-op Graphics Factory at their new location in the Guelph shop. This gives high-school students the opportunit­y to work on real live jobs in the graphics industry.

Cambridge Shop Moves

In 2013, after many years at Bishop Street, the Cambridge office moved to 125 Sheldon Drive, only a short distance away. This new location offers more space, easy access and convenient parking.

London M&T Expands

The M&T London operation required more space and in January 2014, opened a 3,000 square foot office at 797 York Street near the Western Fair District.

50,000 Sq. Ft. Building Purchased

Major expansion happened in 2017 when M&T purchased a 50,000 square foot facility at 675 Davenport Road in Waterloo. This office contains the production equipment for the large digital offset printing as well as letterpres­s and finishing. A complete graphics department as well as Volumes publishing is on site at the new location.

M&T Dearness Growing

M&T Dearness location takes on more space in April 2018. Another 2500 sq. ft. unit adds much needed space to the present facility.

M&T Merges With D’Angelo

In 2017, M&T merged with D’Angelo Printing, a fortyyear-old family printing company in Welland.
